Our mission is a national effort to promote positive mental and physical health wellness by providing services and products for children who experience trauma. Kuzidi is dedicated to serving:

• disaster survivors who find themselves without a home
• children who are placed in the social service networks
• young ones who are underserved or underprivileged
• refugees who find themselves without a country
• kids who suffer the loss of loved ones

Kuzidi is a Swahili word that means to exceed—to go beyond what you thought you could do.

Our goal, with your help, is to give comfort kits to each child, especially those who suffer loss. Purposely selected products and services help children develop self-esteem and spark discovery.

Kuzidi provides high-quality books, products, and programs that offer children outlets for positive expression, enhance literacy, promote communication, and encourage physical activity.
